My daughter, Kylee had one dream throughout high school…to cheer at one of the top cheerleading schools in the country. The whole process of figuring out how to help her realize this dream was overwhelming to me. I wasn’t sure which schools to consider, where there was scholarship money available, etc. We turned to Patrick Cowherd for help, and he was wonderful. He was so knowledgeable about all the different programs, and saved us hours of research. He knew which programs were more “competition based”, and which were big “game day” schools. He also shared advantages of smaller schools vs. larger ones, where money was available, and even the atmosphere of the squads and campuses. Because Patrick is well-known in the “world” of cheerleading, having cheered and coached himself, he was able to open doors for us. Once we began narrowing down options, he made phone calls to coaches and arranged meetings and “previews” with many coaches before open tryouts. I am thrilled to say our daughter is living her dream. She is a freshman on the Varsity Cheerleading Squad at Oklahoma State University and loving every minute of it. She is very talented, and definitely had to work for the opportunity, however, we cannot thank Pat enough for all his work and dedication. After leaving my first gym and cheering and working with Patrick Cowherd and The Cheerleading Agency, my outlook on cheerleading completely changed. My confidence level was boosted as well as my skill level within the four years that I cheered and worked with Patrick. Working with Patrick Cowherd and The Cheerleading Agency got me to where I am today, cheering for Oklahoma State small coed, a team that was established two years ago and has already won an NCA national title. By solociting the help of the agency my son was able to improve his skills in various areas. Such as partner stunting, tumbling, cheer motions and even dance. (Dance does not come easy to him.) It gave him the confidence and the additional skills that he needed to make the UK cheerleading team. (One of the top cheer teams in the country.) In addition to many other leads for cheerleading at other colleges. I would highly recommend the use of Patrick Cowherd and this agency to anyone! When I came into the gym I had no partner stunting experience. Pat worked with me during practice and when I came in outside of practice on my stunting, and before long I had all the skills I needed to make my 1st College team. Pat has been a big part of my life when it comes to cheerleading, he is a real down to earth person who has been there and done that and now he wants to help other achieve their goals. As a college cheerleader Pat has helped me accomplish a few different things.
